＊If you cannot attend the group lesson and would like to take a private lesson at home - for yourself or in a small group of 2-4 people -, please contact for details. The prices will differ according to the number of people attending the lesson.
The lesson is structured around basic asana's of Hatha Yoga. My approach is informed and influenced by Iyengar Yoga.
Yoga asana's have effects upon your skeletal structure, muscles, organs, nervous systems and endocrine glands among others. Blockage in the body movement or in the flow inside the body will be reduced gradually. This cultivates flexibility and strength and at the same time refines your awareness on body and mind. Repeating the cycles of concentration and relaxation improves maintenance of your physical and mental balances as well as energy efficiency of the body and your self-observation.
In the lesson we will work on reducing unnecessary loads and tension in the body. We will do so by freeing the space that the body already and potentially has. This will help optimizing range of movement and increase ease in actions.
At the end of each lesson we will rest in a deep relaxation.
A lay observer may feel that a person who is more flexible can perform yoga asana better than a person who is stiff. However, this is not true. By regular practice, one can strive towards perfection in the asana where the effort to perform it becomes effortless.
Every body is unique. I hope to be a support for enriching your dialogue with your body.
You can wear something comfortable for moving, like a sport clothing.
